On July 4, 2024, a panel of the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee determined that the Registrant shall appear before a panel of the ICRC for an Oral Caution.

The Registrant received the caution on October 3, 2024. The Registrant was reminded of the importance of ensuring a thorough investigation and understanding of a patient’s symptoms in order to provide an appropriate diagnosis, potential differential diagnoses, and treatment plan. The Panel further reminded the Registrant of their obligation to clearly and thoroughly communicate to patients the diagnosis and proposed treatment and to ensure their full understanding of the proposed treatment, including but not limited to the material risks and side effects. Additionally, this caution emphasized the importance of appropriate follow-up and monitoring of response to treatment and thorough documentation of same in the patient chart.
