Terms, Conditions and Limitations

Non Clinical (Effective: 23-Apr-2024)

The following Terms, Conditions and Limitations are in effect while the Registrant holds a General Class certificate of registration.

The Registrant is a non-clinical naturopath and cannot engage in direct patient care within the scope of practice of the profession, cannot perform or delegate any controlled acts authorized to the profession, nor accept the delegation of any controlled acts as set out in section 27 of the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991.

The Registrant may not resume direct patient care until they:

(a)  Satisfy a panel of the Registration Committee that they possess the current knowledge, skill and judgement relating to the practice of the profession that would be expected of a member holding a General certificate of registration; or

(b)  Successfully complete such additional education or training requirements determined to be necessary by a panel of the Registration Committee.

Limitation (Effective: 07-Apr-2020)The Registrant is prohibited from performing and/or supervising intravenous infusion therapy as per the Order of the Discipline Committee dated April 7, 2020.

Limitation (Effective: 07-Apr-2020, Expiry: 31-Dec-2020)On April 7, 2020, the Discipline Committee imposed the following specified terms, conditions and limitations on the Registrant's certificate of registration:

  • Requiring that the Registrant unconditionally pass, and at his own expense, a course in ethics, no later than December 31, 2020;
  • Requiring that the Registrant successfully complete, to the satisfaction of the CEO and at his own expense, the College Jurisprudence Course, no later than December 31, 2020; and
  • Requiring that the Registrant write an essay between 1000-1500 words in length, and provide it to the CEO, no later than one month from the date of completing the Ethics and Jurisprudence courses, that shall be published by the College at a time and in a format determined by the CEO, on the lessons he learned during the investigation and hearing and in completing the Ethics and Jurisprudence courses.

On December 5, 2024, the Registrant appeared before a panel of the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee (the Panel) to be cautioned with respect to failing to comply with Quality Assurance Regulation, and comply with an order of the QAC. The Panel reminded the Registrant of the QA Regulation and the importance of ensuring compliance with the regulation and all levels of governance. The Panel emphasized to the Registrant the importance of taking professional responsibility seriously, including remaining informed of reporting deadlines and fulfilling and reporting CE requirements.

On June 6, 2024, a Panel of the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee determined that the Registrant, shall:
